About Cave Springs Camp and Retreat

About Us:
Since 1951 Cave Springs Camp has provided a safe and welcoming environment where children and adults can enjoy our beautiful surroundings and participate in our programs.  In July and August we welcome children, youth, teens, and staff of all backgrounds to our day camp and overnight summer camp programs.  From September to June we host school groups for full day, half day, and overnight trips. Cave Springs Camp strives to help our guests reconnect with nature and have fun!

In 2020 the New Legacy Hall Conference Center was built transforming Cave Springs Camp into a year-round facility. Cave Springs Camp and Retreat now offers private rentals, weddings, and corporate events for groups of all sizes all year round. Under the guidance of the United Church, we welcome everyone with open arms!  You can host your own private event in one of our 2 halls or join a program that we offer throughout the year.

Nestled at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment in Lincoln Ontario, we are surrounded by Cave Spring Vineyards. Here you can enjoy our beautiful property, which is easily accessible and located just 10 minutes off the QEW. Cave Springs Camp is a registered charity, led by a volunteer board of directors. We welcome adults and children of all ages and backgrounds, and dedicate ourselves to providing high quality programs and services to our community.

Faith Formation and Our Values:
Cave Springs Camp and Retreat is a nonprofit charitable organization owned by the United Church of Canada. At CSC we welcome everyone from all religious and non-religious backgrounds.  There are no religious requirements or expectations for guests or staff participating in Cave Springs Camp programming.

Summer Camp programming faith elements include opportunities for youth to learn and grow their understanding of themselves and the world they live in. Cave Springs values the importance of learning to love oneself, others, nature, and community. Our enviornment supports self-expression, self-discovery and personal growth. Campers have a safe place to ask meaningful questions and build strong values. Our focus in summer is to explore what it means to love others as you love yourself, and to treat others as you would want others to treat you. We at Cave Springs Camp hope to instill good positive values such as love, thankfulness, kindness, community, gratitude and care for the environment. This is done through mindful activities, collaboration, critical thinking, and taking time to express love and gratitude for our natural surroundings.

School groups do not experience any form of religion or faith in programming or discussions.
